Beyoncé Surprise Appearance on the Today Show

Beyonce has made a surprise appearance on US TV's the Today Show, modelling her mother's plus-size clothing range.

The Single Ladies singer shocked presenters Hoda Kotb and Kathy Lee Gifford, when she turned up to model Tina Knowles' designs for Wal-Mart, unannounced.

Beyonce looks glamorous as she leaves her hotel and heads to perform at the White House’s second State Dinner in Washington D.C. on Wednesday (May 19).

President Obama is hosting the dinner for the President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon. Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela also performed at the event.

New Version of 'Halo' Music Video

An alternate version of Beyonce Knowles' "Halo" music video has made its way out. The R&B singer is driving her car on a dark, empty street, while her on-screen lover is being chased by a bunch of men through the woods. When she parks her car on the side of the road and walked into the forest, she finds him lying lifeless.

The music video is directed by Philip Andelman and includes scenes from the previously-released video. Beyonce's love interest is portrayed by actor Michael Ealy, the same man who plays her lover in the old version of the clip.

Why Don't You Love Me

Beyonce released a preview for her new video "Why Don't You Love Me" that is set to be released later this month. In the teaser clip "B" goes retro pin-up girl, she rocks some tiny Daisy Dukes and shows off a toned midriff while fixing a car...Hopefully the anticipation won't be a let down like some felt from the "Videophone" video.

The song was written by Beyoncé, sister Solange and the Bama Boyz -- It was released as a bonus track on the re-released I Am...Sasha Fierce cd and has already hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Fresh off her reign as 2010 Grammy queen — winning a record-breaking six Grammys at Sunday’s ceremony — Beyoncé took time to promote her new fragrance ‘Heat’ last night in Union Square, NYC. It was a family affair with Jay-Z and the Knowles family there for support. Solange even DJ'ed “I’m so thrilled to have my own fragrance,” Beyoncé told reporters at her event.

“Every little detail reflects my personal style,” she added. “It’s a very sensual ad and it got steamy but it was still done with elegance.”
